Bio
Ashley grew up in the Southeast surrounded by both the pine trees and waterways of the Carolinas. Her first introduction to music was on a wrap-around porch at her great grandmother's farmhouse in the country. The family gathered there each Sunday for a large spread of home cooked Southern food, and her great grandmother would play songs on an old organ. Ashley was very curious about the organ and soon started learning basic tunes on it. She also honed her singing skills when singing in a youth choir at church. Ashley eventually went on to perform in piano recitals until her 10th birthday, when she begged her parents to buy her a guitar. Once she got one, songwriting happened naturally.
